I hope everyone had a great time! My apologies to those who could not find me - many agreed the layout was very confusing this year at the entrance. The Green Fest folks told me they will be going back to the old way next year. I hope to work out a more convenient and easier way for everyone to get in free next year and not have to worry about finding us organizers in the crowds for tickets so entry times will be more flexible.

Congratulations to Kimberly for orchestrating and acquiring tickets to this venue. I enjoyed meeting fellow Green members and exhibitors. I also had the privilege of volunteering at our table and answering questions. As Alan had eluded to, it was a pleasure.

I had a blast talking to people when I was at our ChicgoVeg table. "Best" question of many: "What animal should I stop eating first?" My answer: "Chicken - there are so many of them, and they are treated horribly for both meat and eggs"; Also: "Cows-resource intensive" and "Which ever one is easiest (for person)".

My friend and I couldn't find the host on Sunday, but 2 people who were leaving early gave us their tickets.

This was my first event with this group and I didn't know anyone. I went to the main entrance of the festival looking for a likely gathering that would be from this group. After asking several people I stumbled onto Howard and Joe. We got in for free and Joe and I toured the displays. We never did find others from this group. Maybe some folks with a sign or an exact location should be used in the future. From the comments I have read, we weren't the only folks exdperiencing this problem.

Thank you, Kimberly, for spending many hours to arrange free tickets and to organize the event in general; and thank you to all and everyone who helped us at the table!

Never found person with passes. However I got in and thoroughly enjoyed this years festival. Some one from our group should have had a sign guiding CGE members to them. How were we expected to recognize the person with our passes? Anoa

Want to apologize to Mike that Marge & I spent too much time by the crane, kind of lost track of the group. Even it was a short gathering,it was very enjoyable as usual. Many thanks to Vadim, it was very thoughtful of him to get gifts for Mike as 1 year anniversary of Nature Walk serious. Also many thanks to all the ladies for the wonderful pictures:)

Thanks to everyone who attended. What an absolutely incredible spring day we enjoyed. Everything has sprung to life again so early! I had an amazing time sharing nature with some incredible souls, so much so that when we finished I was amazed at the time.

Thanks to everyone who came and I hope you enjoyed the event! I know we missed greeting and checking some people in because it was very crowded so my apologies to those who missed us! Thanks to Mike for co-organizing with me! A side note: As far as the subtitles that Bob is referring to, I am hearing impaired and I was very happy they included them - as the first time I saw this movie at another location there weren't any and I was happy to see they were thinking of people with disabilities at this event. I am glad I went to see this a second time and got some of the dialogue I missed the first time around. Maybe it may seem like a nuisance to those who can hear perfectly but it is more of a nuisance for those of us who can't to not be able to hear very well at all - people often forget about us.

The movie - I found it very distracting to have the subtitles. I know that was for the hearing impared, but still. It's frustrating that eco folks don't seem to play - to be joyous. Everything is soooo serious.

Great film for the ecologically conscious. I'll be reading the Sand County Almanac soon.
